I attempt to summarize here what work I have done on ASW starting 1 January 2023. This log does not include error corrections and the like and I cannot promise that there will not be errors of omission or commission inasmuch as this log is not constructed automatically. 

31 December 2023: Added a comment under Uperoleia daviesae (Myobatrachidae), noting the publication of Catullo, McDonald, Stewart, and Lin, 2023, Rec. W. Aust. Mus., 38: 27–34, who discussed morphological identification from sympatric species, as well as habitat and conservation strategies.

Wikipedia currently addresses the various taxonomic controversies in a responsible manner and the amount of effort that the accounts represent is astonishing in its enormity. 20 years ago you could not have convinced me that a large number of anonymous people would be willing to put so much effort into constructing something so useful.

9 January 2023: Added comments under Oreobates berdemenos and Oreobates discoidalis (Strabomantidae), noting the publication of Akmentins, Boullhesen, García, and Martínez, 2022, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 25: 28–33, who transferred the populations of nominal Oreobates discoidalis from Jujuy and Salta, Argentina, to Oreobates berdemenos on the basis of call structure. They did not report on the calls from the type locality of Oreobates discoidalis (Tucumán) or from populations assigned to this species from Bolivia, noting that both now require confirmation as does the taxonomic status of Oreobates berdemenos itself (named in 2014) with respect to Oreobates discoidalis (named in 1895).
